Friends, Supporters and Family,

Aqa Aakhu Mothudi was diagnosed on January 2nd, 2007 with breast cancer, specifically: PR negative, ER and HER2NEU positive invasive ductal carcinoma. The cancer had already begun to metastasize, spreading into the lymph nodes, by the time we discovered it. Our doctor counseled us that our response would have to be swift, aggressive and involve chemotherapy, surgery and radiation. We have since gone through chemotherapy, surgery, more chemotherapy and more surgery. The chemotherapy has weakened her heart to the point that the chemo had to be stopped due to the risk of heart failure. The doctors have advised us that radiation could burn and permanently scar Aqa Aakhu's lungs. It's time for a different path.

We've done a considerable amount of research and received lots of information from conventional doctors, alternative doctors and other medical professionals. We're convinced that Aqa Aakhu's long-term health will best be served by focusing on a synergistically-combined conventional and alternative treatment plan. The toxicity of chemotherapy is legendary, and almost all hospitals will not consider using it locally near the cancer when it has not spread throughout the body. Alternative therapies commonly used in Europe and other countries to fight cancer are not under consideration by the FDA for approval in the US. We have decided to seek treatment outside of our country to provide my wife with the best care available and we need your help to do it. Unfortunately our health insurance doesn't cover such treatments so we are raising $100,000 to cover the expenses. Our first major milestone is $35,000 which will allow us to begin Aqa Aakhu's series of treatments.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our site. We hope you'll be inspired to make a donation towards our efforts to heal Aqa Aakhu. Any amount you can spare will help to save a life. If you are not in a position to contribute at this time, your prayers and well wishes are appreciated and feel free to forward our site address to others who may be interested in helping.

Enjoy and cherish your health.
